Plotted by Shu Lea Cheang, Dondon Hounwn leads members of Elug Art Corner for this European cultural exchange tour, aiming to transmit GAYA living principle and HAGAY knowledge sharing as expanded performance. GAYA is the living principle and orders of the society, the world, the cosmos held most valuable for Truku people. As an artist and a practicing shaman of Truku tribe, Dondon returns to the field study of GAYA knowledge system and its trans-migration in contemporary society. Through the accounting of HAGAY legend, the power of sharing and cross-disciplinary interflow, LIVING GAYA DREAMING HAGAY mixes myths, rituals, ballads, workshops, forest walks, open dialogue to engage with a diverse European audience.
